GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimum Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimum hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting advantages. Except for stone powder casting, they are compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the drying and working conditions of your casting material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The trays shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only a high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce trays will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material easily. This label prevents raw material waste and saves you from searching for digital data every time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or pierced. Before wax casting, you can easily pierce the point where you will pass the wick using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, make sure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Stone Powder Mixing Ratio Tip: The reference mixing ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg of stone powder. Correctly adjusting the stone powder and water ratio will make the resulting object stronger and more durable. Increasing water ratio increases fragility; decreasing it makes pouring and spreading the mixture in the mold difficult. Also, you will need to adjust these ratios periodically as ambient temperature varies.
- Air Bubble Warning: After mixing stone powder with water, adding the required amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer minimizes air bubble formation. The reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit Air Entrainer per 100 g mortar. Also, lightly tapping the mold after casting to create vibrations helps air bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To ensure smooth details, do not remove the object from the mold before the stone powder cures, i.e., before the heating phase ends.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly remove objects. When applying the spray, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and place it in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every casting is an enjoyable experience in itself. We wish you a joyful and patient production process.
