Candle Dye
Oil-soluble granule pigment. Start at about 1%; no food or water-based dye. Soya Wax 50 for containers (~51–55°C); mold detail stays crisp in paraffin. From Bursa stock.
- Melt granules evenly with the wax in a double boiler. Liquid color looks darker than the set tone.
- Too much dye clogs the wick and causes soot and a weak flame. Keep fragrance load separate.
- In soy, dark shades make frosting visible; that is not a defective wax.
