GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Supportive PLA Hoop Attachment: The outer hoop is made from PLA, an organic bioplastic, to perfectly maintain the form during casting. Hoop color may vary depending on stock.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Silicone molds are versatile. Except for stone powder casting, they are compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to drying and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: Containers shown in images are not included. Only a high-quality silicone mold to produce containers will be sent with your order. Package includes 6 pieces: 1 silicone mold, 1 silicone lid, 2 PLA hoops, and 2 clamps.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- PLA Hoop Usage: Before casting, place the hoop on the silicone mold and secure with clamps. This prevents the silicone from stretching and deforming during casting. Important warning: Do not apply direct heat (hair dryer, heat gun, etc.) to the hoop as high heat may deform or melt the PLA material.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Stone Powder Mixture Ratio Tip: Reference ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg powder. Correct water-to-powder ratio ensures stronger, more durable objects. Higher water increases fragility; lower water makes pouring and spreading difficult. Adjust ratios seasonally with temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: Adding Li-Quit Air Entrainer at 1-3 g per 100 g mixture reduces air bubbles. After pouring, gently tap the mold to help bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To preserve smooth details, do not remove the object before the stone powder fully cures and heat phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For serial production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and ease demolding. Apply an even layer inside the mold.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly after casting.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and can deform under pressure over time. Store completely dry molds in their original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: Use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes as needed.
