How to store soy wax?
Storage is not a pouring recipe. Keep Soya Wax 50 flakes cool, sealed and out of the sun. A hot warehouse causes sweating. Usage (51–55°C, fragrance 6–10%) is in a separate guide.
-
Cool and sealed
No sun and no radiators. An open bag attracts dust and odors. No prices are written here; see the SKU in the catalog.
-
Moisture and heat
High heat leaves oil on the surface (sweating is separate). Moisture makes the flakes stick together. Room coolness is enough.
-
Before pouring
Move on to the usage guide: double boiler ~51–55°C, fragrance 6–10%. Storage temperature is not pouring temperature.
Not usage
Melting and fragrance are in the how-to-use-soy-wax article.
Paraffin
Paraffin is also stored sealed. Do not write the same soy band.
FAQs
The fridge?
Not necessary. Condensation brings moisture.
How many days for an open bag?
Short. Odors and dust stick. Close it again.
