Wick
How many mm should a wooden wick be?
A wooden wick is millimeters and a model; the 12/16 thread numbers are not copied. A thin mm for a narrow container, thick or double for a wide one. The use and crackle guides are separate. Soya Wax 50 container, tip ~5 mm.

Measure the inner diameter
The inner millimeters of the container opening. Kilos and thread numbers do not carry over to wood. Bring the SKU mm close to this diameter.
-
Narrow and wide
In a narrow tealight, wood is mostly too thick; cotton is a thin thread. For a diameter of 7 cm+, think of a thick mm or double wood.
-
Burn test
Soya Wax 50 double boiler ~51–55°C. Wait 24 hours. Tip ~5 mm. A tunnel wants a thicker mm, soot a thinner mm. Crackle is separate.
Not usage
Soaking and the holder are in the how-to-use-a-wooden-wick article. This page is only mm.
Paraffin
Paraffin burns differently from soy. Do not blindly copy the same mm. The SKU note.

Is there a size 16 wooden wick?
No. Size 16 is a thread. For wood, write mm/model.
Does double wood lower the mm?
Two thin sticks give a wide pool. It can be tried instead of one thick mm.
