GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that will not damage object details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can perform approximately 500 castings.
- Supportive PLA Hoop Attachment: The outer hoop is made from PLA, an organic bioplastic material, to perfectly maintain the form during casting. Hoop color may vary depending on stock.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting capabilities. Except for stone powder casting, they are compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to drying and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The incense burner and metal tray shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold for making the burner will be sent with your order. The package consists of 5 parts: 1 silicone mold, 2 PLA hoop pieces, and 2 clamps.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- PLA Hoop Usage: Before casting, place the hoop onto the silicone mold and secure it with the clamps. This prevents the silicone from stretching and deforming during casting. Important warning: Do not apply direct heat (hair dryer, heat gun, etc.) to the hoop. High heat may deform or melt the PLA material.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level to achieve a perfect form.
- Stone Powder Mixing Ratio Tip: The reference mixing ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg stone powder. Correctly adjusting the stone powder and water ratio will make the final object stronger and more durable. Increasing water ratio increases brittleness; decreasing water ratio makes pouring and spreading the mixture in the mold more difficult. Also, adjust these ratios seasonally according to ambient temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: Adding the recommended amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer after mixing stone powder with water minimizes air bubbles. Reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit per 100 g mortar. Additionally, gently tapping the mold after pouring creates vibrations that help air bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To ensure smooth details, do not remove the object from the mold before the stone powder fully cures and the heating phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For serial production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick demolding. Apply the spray evenly inside the mold to form a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a pleasant and patient production process.
