GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 objects with the mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting advantages. Except for stone powder casting; they are compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to drying and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The coaster and candle shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only a high-quality silicone mold for producing coasters will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data every time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or pierced. Before casting wax, you can easily pierce the point where you will place the wick using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Stone Powder Mixing Ratio Tip: The reference mixing ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg stone powder. Correctly adjusting the stone powder and water ratio makes the finished object stronger and more durable. Increasing water ratio increases fragility; decreasing it makes pouring and spreading the mixture in the mold harder. Also, adjust these ratios seasonally as ambient temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: After mixing stone powder with water, adding the required amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer minimizes air bubbles. The reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit per 100 g mixture. Additionally, lightly tapping the mold after pouring creates vibrations that help air bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To ensure smooth details, do not remove the object from the mold before the stone powder fully cures and the heating phase ends.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and remove objects faster. Apply the spray evenly inside the mold to create a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, each casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure in your production process.
