What does a candle making kit include?
A ready kit gathers the first pour in one box: wax, wick, fragrance, and often a container or mold. The SKU contents depend on the box. For container kits Soya Wax 50 makes sense; for a mold kit look for paraffin.
What should be there
Wax, wick + fixer, oil-based fragrance, a container or mold. If a scale and thermometer are not in the kit, buy them separately; grams and 51–55°C (Soya Wax 50) cannot be done by guessing.
Kit vs catalog
A kit is a trial. In series production, Soya Wax 50 sacks, fragrance by the kg and wick by the meter are bought wholesale. Read the contents label; an all-inclusive claim does not cover the scale.
First project
A container kit: a jar candle. A mold kit: a silicone figure. Do not mix the two at once. The steps are in the How to Make Candles and Container Candle guides.
FAQs
Is a kit enough?
For the first 2–6 candles, yes. If there is no thermometer or precision scale, add them. Then scale up the wax and fragrance from the catalog.
Is it a children's kit?
Hot wax and flame are an adult job. Children only join at the cooled decorating stage, under supervision.
