Melt the wax
Double boiler, homogeneous at ~51–55°C. Do not boil. For paraffin, follow the SKU band.
-
Weigh and add the fragrance
Off the heat. 6–10% of the wax weight, ceiling ~8%. Grams, not drops.
-
Stir and wait
Stir until homogeneous. Pour, wait 24 hours; the scent develops over 48 hours–1 week. The weak-scent guide is separate.
Too much
Exceeding oil saturation causes sweating, soot and a weak flame. It does not give a stronger scent.
What not to use
Water-based products, food flavoring and every kind of essential oil are not formulated for candles. Buy the candle fragrance from the catalog.
