How to make aroma tablets (wax melts)?
An aroma tablet (wax melt) is wickless scented wax; it melts in a warmer. Silicone tablet mold, scale, oil-based fragrance. Soya Wax 50 is a container soy; it also works in a small mold. No wick, do not burn.

Weigh the mold and the recipe
Weigh the cavity volume with water. Weigh the fragrance as 6–10% of the wax (ceiling ~8% in Soya Wax 50). Do not use a wick.

Melt the wax and add the fragrance
Melt Soya Wax 50 in a double boiler at 51–55°C. Take it off the heat and stir in the fragrance. Do not boil it.

Pour and remove
Pour slowly. Do not flex the mold before it has cooled completely. Do not burn the tablet; use it only in a wax warmer.
Safety
No open flame. Follow the warmer manufacturer's instructions. Keep away from children and pets. A food scent is not food.
Yield
From a small cavity, dozens of tablets come from 1 kg; write down the grams. Allow 3–5% for loss. Bubble candle calculation is a separate mold.

Is a wick added to an aroma tablet?
No. A wick is for burning. The tablet melts in a warmer.
Soy or paraffin?
Soya Wax 50 gives a soft tablet. For a firm, sharp edge, try paraffin or a mold base.
