GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When storage and usage instructions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting benefits. Except for stone powder casting; they are also compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the drying and working conditions of your casting material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The containers shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce the container will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you easily calculate raw material amounts. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for this information digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or opened. Before casting wax, you can easily pierce the point where the wick will pass through using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Stone Powder Mixture Ratio Tip: The reference mixture ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg of powder. Correctly adjusting the stone powder and water ratio makes the resulting object stronger and more durable. Increasing water ratio increases fragility; decreasing it makes pouring and spreading the mixture in the mold more difficult. Also, you will need to adjust these ratios periodically as ambient temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: After mixing stone powder with water, adding the required amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer minimizes air bubble formation. The reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit Air Entrainer per 100 g mortar. Additionally, lightly tapping the mold after casting creates vibrations that help air bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To ensure smooth details, do not remove the object from the mold before the stone powder cures and the heating phase ends.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly remove objects. When applying the spray, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every casting is an enjoyable experience in itself. We wish you a joyful and patient production process.
