GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Supportive PLA Hoop Attachment: The outer hoop is made from PLA, an organic bioplastic material, to perfectly maintain the form during casting. Hoop color may vary depending on stock.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting materials except stone powder; compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. Pay attention to drying and working conditions of your raw materials to create various products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The containers shown in images are not included in the sale. Only a high-quality silicone mold enabling you to produce containers will be sent with your order. The package consists of 6 pieces: 1 silicone mold, 1 silicone lid, 2 PLA hoop parts, and 2 clamps.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- PLA Hoop Usage: Before casting, place the hoop on the silicone mold and secure with clamps. This prevents the silicone from stretching and deforming during casting. Important warning: Do not apply direct heat (hair dryer, heat gun, etc.) to the hoop. High heat may deform or melt the PLA material.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level to achieve a perfect form.
- Stone Powder Mixture Ratio Tip: Reference mixture ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg stone powder. Correct water-to-stone powder ratio ensures a stronger and more durable object. Increasing water ratio increases fragility; decreasing it makes pouring and spreading the mixture harder. Adjust ratios seasonally according to ambient temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: After mixing stone powder with water, adding the appropriate amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer minimizes air bubbles. Reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit per 100 g mortar. Also, gently tapping the mold after pouring helps bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To get smooth details, do not remove the object from the mold before the stone powder fully cures and the heating phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For serial production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick demolding. Apply spray evenly inside the mold to form a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
