GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to avoid damaging candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material amounts easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds support versatile casting, wick holes are not pre-cut or pierced. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level before casting.
- Temperature Balance: For smooth details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified can cause loss of detail and shape irregularities.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For series production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply the spray evenly on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and can deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure in your production process.
