USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes. Before wax casting, create the wick hole easily without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level Surface: Ensure the mold is placed on a flat and level surface before casting for perfect form.
- Heat Balance: Pay attention to wax melting and casting temperature for smooth details. Removing the wax before fully cooled may cause detail loss and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: Colored wax may cause the silicone mold to change color. Proper cleaning and storage minimize color transfer. For zero risk, use separate molds for colored and white wax castings.
- Mold Release Spray: Use mold release spray to extend mold life and ease object removal during mass production. Apply an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe wax residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store the mold completely dry in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: Use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes as needed.
Remember, each wax casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure in your production process.
