GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to avoid damaging candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can pour candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple materials besides candle wax, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder casts shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will arrive in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material needs easily. This prevents waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before first use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes drilled or cut, due to their multi-purpose design. Before candle pouring, you can easily create the wick hole using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level before pouring to achieve a perfect form.
- Temperature Control: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the melting and pouring temperature of your wax. Removing the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of detail and shape irregularities.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage guidelines will minimize color transfer in future pours. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick object removal. Apply the spray evenly on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may warp under pressure over time. Ensure molds are completely dry before placing them back in their original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, each candle pour is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
