GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Please pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Your order includes only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to create these objects.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and saves you from searching for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds support multi-purpose casting, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole at the desired point using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick object removal. Apply the spray evenly inside the mold to form a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the inside of the mold with a heat gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for immediate cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
