GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to avoid damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of the material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone molds to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily, preventing waste and eliminating the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes opened or cut due to their multi-purpose casting feature. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a 'biz' or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form before casting.
- Temperature Balance: To achieve smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperature. Removing the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Mold Release Spray Use: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store molds completely dry in their original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
