GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that will not damage candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting benefits. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents raw material waste and saves you from searching digital data every time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being opened or cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the point where you will pass the wick into the mold in seconds without damaging it, using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, make sure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To get smooth mold details, pay attention to the candle’s melting temperature and casting temperature. Trying to remove the candle from the mold before it is completely cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for your next candle castings. To reduce workload and avoid risks, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly remove objects from the mold. When applying the spray, ensure an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Since silicone is flexible, it may warp over time under pressure. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a joyful and patient production process.
