GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and saves you from searching for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds offer multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Control: To get smooth details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply the spray evenly on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a heat gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
