GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candle wax, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster. Please consider the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and saves you from searching for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before first use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds support multi-purpose casting, wick holes are not pre-cut or pierced. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Control: Pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax to ensure smooth details. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of detail and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and can deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is a joyful experience. We wish you patience and pleasure in your production process.
