USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose pouring advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or pierced. Before pouring, you can easily pierce the wick hole at the desired point using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the melting and pouring temperature of the wax. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle pour is a delightful experience. We wish you patience and joy in your production process.
