GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting materials. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being drilled or cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the point where you will insert the wick using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, make sure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and casting temperature of the wax to ensure smooth detail in the mold. Trying to remove the candle before it is completely cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for your subsequent castings. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly release objects from the mold. When applying the spray, ensure an even layer on the inner surfaces of the mold.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with a paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Since silicone is flexible, it may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and place it in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a joyful and patient production process.
