GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that prevents damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of the material you cast. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes drilled or cut, due to their multi-purpose casting advantage. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level to achieve a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Removing the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply the spray evenly inside the mold to form a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and joy throughout your production process.
