PARAFFIN PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Paraffin is a by-product obtained from petroleum. It is produced through refining and multiple processing steps in industrial facilities from crude oil. It is used in candle making.
- Technical analysis details: melting point; 56-58 °C, freezing point; 55-57 °C, oil content; 0.5-1.5%, penetration; 16-19. It is white in color and odorless.
- It is recommended not to inhale directly during melting and solidifying as it can be harmful to human and animal health. Use of a mask is advised.
- It may produce soot and smoke.
- The complete melting point is 70 °C. It has a hard structure. Therefore, it is recommended for decorative mold candles.
- It is recommended to melt the product using a double boiler method and stir continuously during melting.
- Protect the product from excessive heat (temperatures above 32 °C) and extreme cold (below 5 °C). Store in a dry and cool place. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
