GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can cast approximately 500 candles with this mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds support multi-purpose casting, they are sent without wick holes being cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: For smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperatures. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified can cause loss of details and shape irregularities.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For series production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning Options: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
