USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle pouring, you can easily pierce the wick hole point with a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the candle's melting and pouring temperature to ensure smooth mold details. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified can cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may warp under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle pouring is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
