- Candle dyes are oil-based products used to color your candles.
- They have a thick, concentrated consistency and begin to soften and then melt when exposed to heat.
- This product is open yellow in color and weighs 1 kg. It is shipped in a single 1 kg doypack package.
- When creating the candle you want to color, it is recommended to add a small amount (1%) of granule candle dye to the melting container along with your raw material (soy wax, paraffin, etc.). The two products should be mixed thoroughly to become homogeneous. After your raw material is completely melted, drip a drop onto white paper and wait for the candle to dry. If the dried colored candle mixture on the paper matches the tone you want, your color is ready. If it is lighter than expected, add a small piece (2%, 3%, 4%, etc.) more by breaking it into the liquid candle and mix well. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired tone.
- The visible color of the melted raw material will not be the same as the color after drying when coloring your candle.
- The candle dyes you use can mix with each other, allowing you to create intermediate colors from different primary colors.
- Granule candle dyes are produced differently from powder dyes to minimize the risk of pigment problems after drying. They are much easier to work with compared to powder dyes.
