Product Info
- Candle dyes are oil-based products used to color your candles.
- They have a thick, concentrated consistency and begin to soften and then melt when exposed to heat.
- This product is light green in color and weighs 500 grams. It is shipped as a single 500g doypack package.
- When coloring your candle, it is recommended to add a small amount (1%) of granule candle dye to the melting pot along with your base material (soy wax, paraffin, etc.). Mix the two thoroughly to achieve a homogeneous blend. After your base material has fully melted, drop a small amount onto white paper and wait for it to dry. If the dried colored wax on the paper matches your desired shade, your color is ready. If the tone is lighter than expected, add a small piece (2%, 3%, 4%, etc.) more granules to the liquid wax and mix well. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired tone.
- Note that the visible color of the melted base material will differ from the color after drying.
- The candle dyes you use can be mixed with each other, allowing you to create intermediate colors from different primary colors.
- Granule candle dyes are produced to minimize pigment issues after drying, unlike powder dyes. They are much easier to work with compared to powders.
- Not suitable for ingestion or contact with eyes.
- The candles shown in the images are not included in the sale.
