GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can cast approximately 500 candles with this mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting materials. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. By considering the freezing and working conditions of your material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material amounts easily. This label prevents material waste and saves you from searching digital data every time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and casting temperature of the wax to ensure smooth detail in the mold. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape irregularities.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in subsequent castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the inner surfaces of the mold.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry before placing it back into its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
