GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that won’t damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: If stored and used properly, you can pour candles approximately 500 times with the mold.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple materials besides candle wax; compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster pours. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder casts shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material amounts easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose pouring advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or opened. Before candle pouring, you can easily pierce the point where the wick will pass using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless shape, ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and pouring temperature of the wax to ensure smooth mold details. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape irregularities.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and avoid risks, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
