GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting uses. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials to create various products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: Candles and stone powder castings shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes opened or cut, due to their multi-purpose casting advantage. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: For smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperature. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may warp under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
