GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that won't damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can pour approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your materials. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder casts shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone molds to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily, preventing waste and eliminating the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes cut or pierced due to their multi-purpose design. Before pouring, you can easily create the wick hole using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the candle's melting and pouring temperatures. Removing the candle before it fully cools and solidifies may cause loss of detail and shape inconsistencies.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage guidelines will minimize color transfer in future pours. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick object removal. Apply evenly inside the mold to form a consistent layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure molds are completely dry before placing them back in their original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
