GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 candles using the mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be shipped with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds support multi-purpose casting, they are sent without wick holes being cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole at the desired point using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Mold Cutting: The mold's opening is narrower than its body to perfectly form the balloon shape. Therefore, when looking from above, cut two opposite horizontal and vertical legs in a plus shape about 1 cm from the opening. The uncut side legs should be pulled outward after drying to remove the candle. Before casting, align and press the cut surfaces tightly together. This cutting process allows your detailed candle to be removed easily without damage, prevents mold tearing, and extends its lifespan.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: For smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperatures. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick object removal. Apply the spray evenly on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, each candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a pleasant and patient production process.
