GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candles; including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your material, you can create various products. Not recommended for food items.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes drilled or cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole at the desired point using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To get smooth details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Trying to remove the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for your next castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
