GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting uses. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials to create various products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold enabling you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes cut or trimmed due to their multi-purpose casting advantage. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Mold Cutting: The mold’s opening is narrower than the body, allowing a perfect balloon shape. Therefore, when looking at the mold from above, cut about 1 cm from two opposite horizontal and vertical legs in a plus shape at the opening. The uncut side legs should be pulled outward after drying to remove the candle. Before casting, align and press the cut surfaces tightly together. This cutting process helps your detailed candle come out easily without damage, prevents mold tearing, and extends mold life.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax for smooth mold details. Removing the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly remove objects. Apply an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure in your production process.
