GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable not only for candle casting but also for soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster casting. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone molds to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes drilled or cut, as they are multi-purpose. Before casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Control: To achieve smooth details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of detail and shape irregularities.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply the spray evenly on the inner surfaces of the mold.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, each candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
