GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that will not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting benefits. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and dimension information to help you calculate raw materials easily. This label prevents material waste and saves you from searching for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or opened. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the point where you will pass the wick into the mold within seconds using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Heat Balance: To get smooth details from the mold, pay attention to the melting temperature and casting heat of the candle. Trying to remove the candle from the mold before it is completely cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for your subsequent castings. To reduce workload and avoid risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend the mold's lifespan and quickly release the object from the mold. When applying the spray, ensure an even layer forms on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with a paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform over time under pressure. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
