GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to protect candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can make approximately 500 candle pours.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: Candles and stone powder casts shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone molds to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help calculate raw material amounts easily. This prevents waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes cut or trimmed to allow multi-purpose casting. Before pouring, you can easily pierce the wick hole using a tool called a 'biz' or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Control: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the candle's melting and pouring temperatures. Removing the candle before it fully cools and hardens may cause loss of detail and shape distortions.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and risk, consider having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply evenly inside the mold to create a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store your mold completely dry in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
