GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to protect candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Silicone molds are versatile. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster casting. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will arrive in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes cut. Before casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Removing the candle before it fully cools may cause loss of detail and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: Colored wax may cause the silicone mold to discolor after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, consider using separate molds for colored and white waxes.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and ease object removal. Apply an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store the mold completely dry in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure in your production process.
